Dr. Paige Telan earned her Ph.D, in Psychology from Florida International University in 2000 with a specialization in Developmental Science. In addition, she earned a masters degree in Mental Health Counseling. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida and a Board Qualified Clinical Supervisor. She currently teaches for both the Psychology Department and the Counseling Psychology Masters program at Florida International University.
Dr. Telan has a wide range of clinical experience that includes working with eating disorders, substance abuse, gender identity, as well as depression, anxiety and stress related conditions. She is also a mindfulness practitioner, who has worked teaching these skills to individuals as well as providing mindfulness groups for Comcast and the U.S. Army. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including inpatient treatment centers, such as The Renfrew Center for Eating Disorders, and outpatient care. Dr. Telan also has extensive experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and trauma related work. She currently has a private practice in the Boca Raton area.
